Nice place, nice bungalow, but almost no beach and a bit remote. Far from everything even the village at Maenam.

No worth the money. I would not recommend it. New Years dinner was over priced. Staff not friendly for the most part. Stayed 10 days and our bathroom never got clean I asked the staff 3 times to clean it but never got done.

It s a cheap family friendly and family run hotel which was great for the 10 days we stayed. The pool is too heavily chlorinated and we didn t have much luck with the weather as the sea level was at a record high so we didn t get to enjoy the beach much - although when we did it was great. The staff are very friendly and the rooms clean but don t expect 3 star accommodation. The best thing by far was the absolutely fantastic Wat Poh masseuse lady - ask her about the proper 2 hour Wat Poh massage, you won t regret it!

Great hotel familliale. Staff very attentive and very sympathique.The cooking of restores is of more very good. Completed to rest and take some pleasure in family.

Overall we had a nice stay. Restuarant is OK, with a good view over the sea towards Koh Phangan. Do not try a beach walk in the morning or at night the beach dogs are terrible. There are some ladyboys that have some different jobs there, no problem though. I will recommend this place.

Den stugan vi fick fanns inte med pa bild. Vi kande oss lite lurade. Trots det sa var det ett trevligt boende. Rent i rummet och trevlig personal.

Nice and clean rooms, restaurant service could be better (waitress went away without taking empty glasses or plates) and very often the waitress could not calculate the right price or change money :). The foot was very good/deliciuos, the beach quite narrow and artificial (sand bags, concrete)

I find the hotel to be quite expensive considering the quality of our room. It was dark, humid and smelled of mould. Not very nice to sleep in. The beach is more or less non existing, so expect to frequent the (small) pool area instead. The restaurant is very good though. Staff is ok, but not overwhelmingly friendly.

We stayed at the New Lapaz for 6 nights, the staff was really nice and friendly, good service, food was tasty but the breakfast was not particularly good. The beach was ok but nothing special, the water was not clear. Beware of dogs from the nearby hotel, was bitten in the calf on the first day when we went for a walk on the beach. I m glad I took the lead and not our 4 year old daughter, she is now afraid of dogs. Told the staff they did not particularly worried that was not done something about it. A good idea with a stick when you walk on Mae Nam beach. Vi boede på New Lapaz i 6 nætter, personalet var rigtig søde og venlige, god service, maden var velsmagende men morgenmaden var ikke specielt god. Stranden var ok men ikke noget særligt, vandet var ikke klart. Pas på hunde fra nærliggende hotel, blev bidt i læggen den første dag, da vi gik en tur på stranden. Jeg er glad for at jeg gik forrest og ikke vor 4 årig datter, hun er nu blevet bange for hunde. Fortalte det til personalet, de virkede ikke specielt bekymret, der blev ikke gjort noget ved det. En god ide med en kæp når du går tur på Mae Nam strand.
